Description of Agios Sostis Isle
The small island of Agios Sostis is located in the gulf of Laganas. It is pine-cladded and has caves and a beautiful sandy beach that impress all visitors. It is named after the church of Agios Sostis and is privately owned. It used to be connected to the mainland but after an earthquake in 1633, it was separated and can now be reached either by swimming or by the lovely wooden bridge that is lit up in the evening.
During the day, turtles can be spotted around the island by boat and during the evening you can enjoy the view and have fun at the cafe and club on the island.
